Hi there!
I am Sara Nejatian

From Physical World to Digital
I’ve been working in design for 14 years, starting with painting, then moving into industrial design followed by landscape architecture, before eventually finding my way into UX/UI and full-stack development. My path has always been about exploring how people connect with the world — first through objects and spaces, later through digital experiences.
My Design Philosophy
For me, design is about clarity, connection, and adaptability. I enjoy taking complex problems and reshaping them into solutions that feel simple, intuitive, and human. Whether sketching ideas, building prototypes, or refining flows, I focus on creating end-to-end experiences that are functional yet meaningful.
Design Roots
Industrial design taught me problem-solving, ergonomics, plus user-centered functionality — always putting people first. Landscape architecture introduced me to systems thinking, sustainability, alongside adaptability, balancing creativity with real-world constraints. These experiences combined gave me a way of approaching digital design with both a wide lens and a sharp attention to detail.
A Little More About Me
Outside of work, I find inspiration in art, photography, plus travel, always curious about how people think, feel, or move through everyday life.
What I Value
I believe design doesn’t need to be perfect — it needs to be human. It should listen, adapt, evolve. My journey across different design fields taught me to combine empathy with systematic thinking, while always aiming for flexible, impactful solutions that connect with people in meaningful ways.

live with
I’ve been living with my plants for a few years now. We take care of each other, but our relationship is a bit of a love-hate one. Sometimes I overwater them like I’m trying to drown them, and other times I give them too much space to thrive. We’re still working on our communication skills!
Let me introduce you to my green babies.

Hobbies
In my free time, I love doing yoga because it helps me manage stress and relax my body—it really brings me some peace. I also get lost in painting and drawing, which calm my mind and let my creativity flow. Hanging out and talking with my friends always brings me joy, and I really enjoy baking cakes for parties or birthdays, especially for the people I love.

interests
I'm deeply curious about art, history, and science fiction, and I get excited like a child when these worlds come together in creative and unexpected ways. I love ideas that break the rules and push beyond traditional boundaries—they inspire me to think differently, challenge myself, and always keep learning.
Most of the time, I find myself completely immersed in these things, exploring, imagining, and letting my curiosity take over. They fuel my creativity and make me want to grow, experiment, and see the world from new perspectives. Below are some of my recent favorites:

Traveling the world is my greatest passion. I love exploring new places, immersing myself in different cultures, and meeting amazing people while creating unforgettable memories. Every journey expands my perspective and helps me grow, opening my mind to new ideas and experiences. Here are some moments I've captured.
